Our story

One farm, three houses, one family

Owned by the Griebel family – in at least the third generation. The houses are named after the father Manfred and the grandparents Adele and Oskar.

    A farm with guest rooms

    The grandparents Oskar and Adele farmed in and around Bad Neustadt – and already welcomed guests.

  2. Later

    Hotel garni Wiesenhof

    The farm became Hotel garni Wiesenhof. Their son Manfred joined the family business.

  3. 1998

    Hotel Residenz

    In 1998 Manfred Griebel acquired Hotel Residenz – just 100 m away. That is where we still welcome our guests at the reception today.

  4. Today

    The next generation

    Johannes runs the hotels together with his parents Manfred and Barbara and his wife Anna. Meanwhile their little son Leopold has joined the family too.

  5. 2026

    WH Aparthotel

    The old building is being fully renovated; Haus Manfred opens on Monday, 30 November 2026. Wiesenhof becomes WH Aparthotel.

Weekly and monthly rates

For project assignments, secondments or the first weeks in a new job: in Haus Adele and Haus Oskar you stay at fixed weekly and monthly rates – with your own kitchen and cleaning every two weeks. In Haus Manfred, weekly and monthly rates are available on request. Booking for colleagues? Your company can enquire directly.

Can my company book and pay for my stay?

Yes. Your employer can book on your behalf – just include the billing details in your enquiry. Invoices are payable within seven days of receipt; for stays of four weeks or more we may issue interim invoices.

Is there a reception?

WH Aparthotel has no reception of its own. The Griebel family also runs Hotel Residenz, 100 m away – that is where we welcome you in person at the reception.

How does check-in work?

In Haus Manfred it is digital: your phone opens the door, or you programme your room card yourself on site. For Haus Adele and Haus Oskar you check in at Hotel Residenz, where you can always be welcomed in person during opening hours.

Can I cook for myself?

Yes. In Haus Manfred, kitchen use can be booked. The studios in Haus Adele have a kitchenette, the apartments in Haus Oskar their own kitchen. Kitchen equipment can be booked.

How often is the room cleaned?

In Haus Manfred on departure and an interim clean every two days. For long stays every two weeks; for shorter stays an interim clean is always possible.

Where do I park?

We have a few private spaces. Right in front of the buildings there is public parking, free overnight.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are allowed in some of the Comfort Apartments. Just let us know in your enquiry.

Can I book online?

Haus Manfred will also be bookable on the usual online portals. You can enquire directly right now.
